Flatbed

Open on every side, so a forklift or crane reaches every piece. Tarped when the freight needs it, open when it doesn't.

What rides on what

Semi or maxi

Every trailer above runs in either class. A maxi takes the heavier load, but only in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Utah.

Will knows the difference firsthand. He drove for seven years, mostly maxis in Oregon and Washington.

Semi
48,000 lb
Runs in any state
Maxi
62,000–65,000 lb
Most carry up to 64,000 lb. Runs in WAORIDMTUT

A full deck or a few pieces

Freight that won’t fill a deck still moves. We book LTL on flatbeds and on hot shots, the one-ton pickups that pull a trailer behind them, usually a 30′ to 40′ deck rated for 10,000 to 12,000 lb.

Must-tarp or no-tarp, we book both. If a load runs oversize, the carrier we book pulls the permits for it.

What we ask before we quote

  1. What the product is
  2. Its weight
  3. Length, width, and height
  4. Tarp or no tarp
  5. How many pieces
  6. Pickup and delivery dates

Mostly Washington and Oregon

We cover the Western U.S., and most of our freight runs from either side of the Cascades in Washington to anywhere in Oregon and back, or between western and eastern Washington. A load headed anywhere else in the country still gets a quote.
